In 2018, Homero Adame was invited to the San Miguel Writer’s Conference as a guest speaker and participated in the oral storytellers’ section.
He told a legend about the Huachichiles, a major ethnic group of the Mexican desert that became extinct at the end of the 19th century, based on a creation myth that he himself compiled some years ago at some undetermined point in the Potosinian desert.
